Not just the elderly.

I recently had a fail on this - it's easily done and on these heavy cars they chew inside shoulders for fun if the alignment's out. Embarrassing* but hey-ho.

My XC90 has had one previous owner before I bought it, it was always serviced every year at the Volvo dealership, yet it failed its first MOT for the parking brake.

I took an S60 for test with a cable to only one side. It had never rolled, was always secure, and I have no clue where the cable went in the year since the previous test!

there seems to be lots of opinion but no takers, the chap says he is opens to offers, who cares if you think he is flipping it? I dont, who wouldn't in this day and age. Maybe if you're serious you should ask the seller some questions in private rather than airing it out in public.

I agree, he's being completely open, its not a fortune and at least its being offered to enthusiasts first rather than the usual one-man local builder who still target these cars as mobile skips. Anyone wanting to find a bargain should try spending endless hours traipsing the auctions drinking freezing tea from a plastic cup to the faint aroma of chips. I've tried it and its not a lifestyle I fancy.
