Default Undercarpet insulation/pad

Anyone know if the thick insulation pads are available new - i have noticed water in the floor wells front and back - rear pad is savable but the front are a mess
Next bit of fun will be finding where it is from - i have recently had the roof respaying as the lacquer was peeling - this involved removing the roof rails - will be interesested to see if this is culpret
Have removed all carpets, insulation and foam to see what happens

Hi,

I got some rubbered insulation matting from Frosts to finish mine off.

Might be worth checking your heat exchanger valve (if non-AirCon) for leaks as that resides in the drivers footwell and maybe also your Heater Matrix.
Another possible source will be a sunroof if fitted. Either the drain pipes are dislodged or blocked or maybe the seal about the glass roof may be seeping..

Des. . .

Thanks for comments - still to determine if new insulation available however 2 leaks identified so far
1. bonnet cable release grommit - drivers side bulkhead - located conveniently in path of water from scuttle drain off - this seems to be main leak into drivers side front
2 hand brake cable grommit displaced - allowing road water spray into rear footwell

Will keep monitoring for other sources
