Hi all

I got this emailed to me yesterday (FYI I am a customer of Nordic, nothing more!) and thought you might be interested :

BSR Diagnostic PPC Tool - WAS £149.95, now £49.95 (ex VAT - but free delivery) - so that's £57.44 inc. VAT.

I had the same email. Nordic seem to have gone online retailer, before you had to be registered to view their catalogue.

how old is "New" ?

The web info states..............for all Volvo's 2001-2007

with exceptions including the S/V40 96-04

Alexx if you can find a bsr ppc diagnostics unit on ebay for 20 quid then I would buy that immediately.

P.S. I suspect the 20 quid units you are refering to are units that do ISO9142 OBD scanning and diagnostics, and not the BSR PPC which does dual CAN bus which is specific to volvo and can read and reset diagnostic codes from all of the ECU's in the car and not just the engine one as your 20 quid tools will.

I paid 150 quid for my PPC and it is great value. Certainly saved my bacon on a number of occasions when I have disturbed the SRS circuit by accident and required an airbag reset. Your 20 quid tools won't do this.

Where could I get one of these for a 1996 P reg 960 3.0 24v
It does have the OBD II port beside the handbrake.

ahh you paid too much ppc direct do them for £64.95 delivered thats what i paid and its great like you say
