Get a wood rim one. My cream leather one was looking awful so I bought a wood rim one which has stayed looking good. You can dye your original but the stitching then goes very stiff and uncomfortable to the touch.

Hi Jim,
I too would love to get my hands on a (matching if poss.) wood rimmed steering wheel. As my leather one is worn-out too. I imagine that new Volvo ones would be an horrendous price? considering the burr walnut gear knob is the best part of £150!
Can you give makes and prices? - Thanks.

Cheers,
Rob.

p.s. I should have said mine's a V70 - not 850

I bought my one off of somebody on here, they had a chance of buying an R alcantara one and wanted to sell their wood one. They crop up on here and on Ebay sometimes. A guy on the performance volvo site was selling one alongside all the wood trim a short while ago just here http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?t=44365

The wheel is the same as my one. It feels much nicer and does stay looking good.

you can if your very lucky get a momo boss that fits the 850 without airbag of course and then have a momo wheel.

i waited 2 years for mine from momo and then decided i didn't like it
