T5 or not T5 - please help

Hi all

I have acquired (soon to buy) a T5 off a friend of the family, he is moving house, V5 in secure locked storage, soon to be out but at present cannot be accessed. I just checked, DVLA have it registeres at a 2.5 in green. I make the colour turquoise blue, and its badged as a T5 (and drives like one IMO) with a big turbo under the bonnet.... I presume I need to alter the V5 when its available, but just to be 100% sure is there any other way of confirming its a T5? The mate I bought it off knows nothing at all about cars though has had it from almost new and cared for it well at a volvo specialist.

get the chasis number then post here, it can be worked out exactly what it is from that

Must have, lest it's been engine swapped, then swapped again! For what it's worth I'd get it changed, insurance purposes etc - was only joking earlier! :P
