Default C30 RTI Satnav

Any body know a quick way to stop route guidance. Can't find answer in manual. I can do it by going into itinerary menu and cancelling itinerary. A bit cumbersome - must be a simpler way.
Know there's a shortcut to storing current location by holding enter button down. Anybody know any other shortcuts like this?

I never use the SatNav in my C30. Too difficult and complicated TBH. But I'm an Old Volvo Driver. You may be OK!

Turn the nav off and then on again using the steering wheel controls.

Surely once the destination is reached, the guidance automatically cancelled. Thats how mine works,

Slightly confused, mine stops guidance once the destination is reached. If you want to cancel the route before the destination has been reached then I think that going into itinerary then clear itinerary is the only way to clear it. Unless there’s another menu shortcut I’m not aware of?

I have the problem if I stop 20 yards short of where the satnav thinks is my final destination, or if I switch it off and head somewhere else. The next time I come to use the satnav it will include that last destination. I do find it clumsy to have to "clear itinerary" before I can set my next destination. Too much clicking of buttons.

That’s annoying. It doesn’t complete a destination unless you get right where it wants you to get to and the process to clear the route is a bit clumsy. Should be on the main menu.
