ex-volvo laptop... help needed
Hi.
I obtained laptop (toughbook CF19) which is ex-VOLVO diagnostic laptop. It has supervisor bios password which I don't know. I wouldn't have need to enter it but need to turn bluetooth on which was disabled in BIOS. Would anyone know what sort of supervisor password Volvo using on their laptops, please? Regards Jocker01 |

that's very bad news... CF bios can not be reset as other laptops

Plug in a USB bluetooth dongle and see if you can get it to work. The bluetooth that is disabled in the BIOS will be built in to the wireless card.

Looks like that I will not have a choice, would you known any other option?
I don't want to keep slot open all the time, I was thinking about Expresscard, but I can't find any decent bluetooth card. Regards Jocker01 |

This method doesn't work, I tried
Clears only time and date but supervisor password remained I purchesed usb dongle and pcimcia with usb3.0 sockets, hoping that it will fit under flap and laptop will remain waterproof. Regards Jocker01 Last edited by jocker01; Sep 22nd, 2017 at 14:07. |

Unlikely the seller will be able to help - I'd assume this is something that should have been disposed of via their in-house IT - for recycling or destruction, and not sold.

Seller won't help, I bought usb bluetooth and work a treat, I might figure out password someday
