Every tried playing the RTI cleaning disk in a CD player?
I fired up an old Technics CD player yesterday and thought it would be a good idea to stick a cleaning disc in it. All I had to hand was a Volvo cleaning DVD (the one with the little brushes) so popped it in and was surprised to find a 30 second audio track on it. If you've got such a disc, have a listen - it's completely unexpected .
Let me know if you have any idea what on earth it's all about.

I also had it on BMW software update CDs - but there it was the screaming of a BMW F1 racing car moving from left to right speakers They include an audio track so that the CD is recognised by an audio system as a valid audio CD and to help easily check that the CD is actually OK
