71 and still taller than George Clooney.
On my fifth new Volvo, a 17 plate XC60 R design nav/ Lux D5 AWD Geartronic in Blue with black leather. Prior to this Volvo I had a new V60 D2 se powershift for 18 months after 3 years with a new XC60 R Design D5 Geartronic in Cosmic White, after a new XC90 ,and firstly a new XC70 SeLux D5 manual. Over 350,000 Volvo miles driven -all leased rather than purchased. Btw 71 is the new 51!

35 years online.. 2003 V70 2.4 auto.
Maybe.. Maybe next year I'll change her for xc70.. She's got 258000 on the clock, and may hold for another that, or may collapse next week.. And when I'm making 1300 miles jump, I want to be calm.. Not stressed even slightest bit. |

I'm 64 and just got my very first Volvo, 2013 XC70 SE Lux, and have to say it's the best motor I've ever had and certainly the most luxurious. I love it!

Almost 67 and just retired. Bought a 2012 C70 Luxe Solstice (with 16500 miles on the clock) as a retirement present to myself.
Love the car. Living in the Highlands, it can be a bit chilly with the roof down but why have a convertible and always have the roof up? My Mini Cooper had a glass roof and was great fun but this is so much better. My husband would like one, too, but it's totally impractical with dogs! |

37 but my first Volvo, a 340 GL 1.7, came as a gift with a "slipping clutch" when I was about 21-22ish. Needless to say, the clutch was not much more than a linkage problem so after a lube & a new fuel pipe it was good to go.
I do have history of wanting a nice 360 GLT going back to when I was 14 though, and always liked the 945 my Grandfather owned too (Unlike himself, sadly, it's still around. M56 AMB if anyone on here knows of it? still only on 133k according to the MoT history!). Currently own (in fact just recently purchased) a 2006 S80 D5 SE Lux with 190k and enjoying my return to Volvo very much indeed after a brief dalliance with a 1.8 (Volvo engine) V40 4 years ago which I changed for a Diesel Citroen on grounds of fuel economy.
