Default hard to unlock the car when Hazard flashers are ON

Hello,

When i park my car and press the hazard flashers button (all 4 turn flashers) and i lock my car, when i come back in 1-2 mins i have to press the unlock button for few times for the car to unlock.

I've tried holding the unlock button for longer time, sometimes it unlocks in 3 sometime it can take 6 seconds, usually i press the unlock button, release it, press it for 2-3 seconds, release it and press it for few seconds again and it will unlock. Sometimes it's the second press sometimes it is after 3-4 pressing of the unlock button. There is NO PATTERN!

The only thing that i noticed is that this happens ONLY WHEN HAZARD FLASHERS ARE ON.

If i don't have hazard flashers ON, the car unlocks without any problems, i just press the unlock button and in a second it's unlocked after it's been locked for 1-2 minutes, hew hours, even few days.

I suspect it's a electric problem with some relay, can someone tell me where it's located? near front fuses or rear fuses? Or some other idea?

Regards,
Nikola

Hi I'm in the UK.

WHY would you want to turn on your hazards when you park the car, is it Country related or are you parking illegally and think hazards give you a "Free Pass" ??.

He is probably in a country were the custom is to stick the flashers on when parked for a short while. Very common practise in Europe when parking spaces are at a premium.

Suggest you change the battery in the remote as your first step, could be there is a weak signal from the remote being masked by an RF emission from the flashers? (Sounds like I'm clutching at straws a bit there!)
