Hi John, I don´t want to spend 100 on the DVD before being 100% sure that doesn´t work. Do you know how can I test it outside the car?

Thanks again

Really not sure if it can be tested other than with a specialist jig.

However, with just power to the unit (which you have), the black button above the DVD cradle should eject it. The fact that it will not do anything seems indicative of a fault in the DVD unit itself.

Hence I believe it is pretty sure that the player itself has failed. The plug that fits the DVD unit must provide all power and signals in and out, so really no way I can see can be checked. However you have power and the eject has to be basic function of the unit.

Hope this helps
