Default Urgent help - suggestions

So today I’ve stripped off the top inlet manifold from my euro 4 d5 xc60
Cleaned out the egr and air intake.
So today was the inlet as was waiting for the kit to put it all back together. New gasket etc.

So I carb cleaned inside the inlet manifold. Loads in. Scrubbed it. Scraped it and pressure washed it out. To get it to dry inside quicker I used a hot air gun blo wing hot hair inside. Figured it would usually take some heat in the engine bay

So it started to smoke a bit and assumed it was oil mess burning off that I hadnt managed to clean out. But the top of the inlet manifold that looks like it should
Come off but doesn’t started to creak and it’s popped up a bit, so had started to come off.

So the question is should I just use a instant gasket stuff to seal around where it’s come up a little bit. As it’s n
To fully off just lifted. Or should I continue to heat it so it heats the seal and pops it off completely,.. then reseal it with instant gasket??

It would be good to take to take it apart fully actually to make sure it’s totally clean inside. But don’t want to continue to heat it and open it up if I can’t put it back together and use instant gasket to seal it

Any help would be amazing. As mid sorting it. And if I am to take it apart want to let it cure over night. As need the car tomorrow

Thanks for the,ink..Done that already though.

I’m on the inlet manifold that sits on the top. I’ve applied a bit much head whilst drying it out. (Thinking about it I should have used a hair dryer)

And the top part seems to have come up a bit from the rest now inlet manifold. It’s like a lid section

For now I’ve just run instant gasket around the gap it made. It was only about a mom or so.
