17x7j steel wheels and tyres x4
Hi All!
I’m selling the steel wheels I have on my 940 as I’ve had to return to standard for insurance purposes and I’m selling my car soon anyway. You’ve probably seen the pics before but this is what they look like on my car: Here they are off the car and all cleaned up for sale. More pics in this album: https://flickr.com/photos/94141909@N...57705789434214 So what are they? They are Citroen C6 spare wheels which I had to buy from 4 separate places as Citroen charge hundreds each for them. As they only make around 900 C6’s for the UK it’s hard to find these as these were only ever the spare wheels. I had them powder coated at LSN in Castleford and I then sealed the seams with silicone (as advised by LSN) before putting these quality budget tyres on from BlackCircles. The wheels cost me about £170, the powder coat £130 and the 205/50 tyres £200. They are ET25 so they bolt straight onto a 940 with only a slim 5mm hubcentric spacer needed for the front wheels so they clear the struts. As the steel is thinner than the alloys there’s more than enough length on the studs for the spacers. The spacers cost me £20 and I’ll inclide them in the sale if you are putting them on a 740/940. The tyres are sized so the rolling circumference is same as standard so your Speedo won’t be inaccurate. The tyres seem really good quality - the fitters remarked that they looked really good to them as BlackCircles seem to provide decent cheaper tyres rather than ditch finders. I don’t have a depth gauge but I’ve only done 3000 miles ish on these tyres so they look new and have at least 6mm tread maybe more and haven’t worn unevenly. They are a little wider than the standard wheels so they fill the arches better but don’t rub anywhere, even on my 40mm lowered car. They have a couple of small kerbings marks on them which you can see on the pics but this is minimal and you could touch it up if you wanted. I’ve had an offer for these already but it would involve posting which i don’t want to do. I don’t mind driving to meet you halfway if you want these - the postage is about £50 including packaging so it’d be cheaper to drive for an hour or two than post and a lot less hassle!! Offers around £225 for the whole set, cash on collection only. Please reply to this post, then send a PM.

Here same set ex C6 but thought it has et-32 and therefore the 5mm spacer is needed to come close to 25

Pretty sure they are 25 but I will check. IIRC the ET32 version is from another car, maybe a Peugeot MPV?

I will double check but you are probably right.
They fit fine on a 940/740 anyway, thats the important point!
