3507902 is listed up to 1996 and 9146761 is listed from 1996
Do these have different pressures as they bolt different on the fuel rails and the fuel rails are different for both regulators Would these be interchangeable using the correct fuel rail and regulator |

Looking at the parts list on vida shows 3507902 up to 1995 with the other number from 96 onwards. It also states that the later regulators are for cars without a fuel return and they're also referred to as shock absorbers. I'm no expert but my guess is the way the fuel system is plumbed is different from 96 onwards hence the different fuel rail pressure regulator/shock absorber set up. As for pressures I haven't got a clue.
Does a Google search of the early part number show an identical component to the one you require? Sorry I can't be of any more help if at all.

Hi
(I dont know anything about 850s). This site is is useful for browsing parts and numbers. See the What this fits tab. https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/p...6/3507902.html Looks like PFS sells them http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=5604 Also if you look at this ebay listing https://www.ebay.com/itm/93-94-95-VO...-/181589413830 Looks like the Bosch part number is 0280160746 Maybe you can find one that way. Can you see that number on your existing part? Steve

there are two different fuel regulators on the 850 turbo. My 859r 1996 the fuel regulator fix flush against a rail the one on the earlier 850 t5rhad 2 spacers like brass collars where the screws ran throug either side to move it away from the fuel rail. There is also a fuel pressure regulator off a focus which is set at 3.8 bar which can be changed for the 850R which will raise the fuel pressure from its standard 3 bar above manifold pressure to 3.8. hope this helps
