Question Passenger door(s), windows and Mirror fault

Hi,

I cannot open the door, windows on the passenger side and the electric mirror wont fold. I have read many other posts but I am after for some advice, this is what I have tried so far...:
  1. I have tried the following
  2. disconnecting battery
  3. changing fuses
  4. banging the door near loom (read in another post)
  5. swearing
  6. called an auto electrician diagnosed as PDM passenger door module failure

The problem I have is that the doors are deadlocked so hard to get to the PDM unit as I cannot open passenger door to remove door card.

what would people suggest I do as an approach to this, also if I get a new PDM and remove will I have to re-program the unit for it to work?

it seems like a huge cost and I was wondering what expereince people have had? or what they would recommend...

thanks
