Just testing the water...

1979 244, been off the road for 20 years, dry stored, seems solid. Rolls freely. But the engine is seized, been told it will be dry siezed and should free up?

Looking for offers of £225+ with scrap prices/banger prices so high. Will need collecting from Leyland with transit/transporter as can't be drove home..!

Hi, Is there much corrosion or rot on it? Auto or manual?

Has this gone to a banger racer? I had a guy texting me about this very car seeing if I knew anyone who wanted parts. Such a pity if it has!

Ill be hopefully racing it yes, the car needed to be gone, and a driver I knew came and collected it for me to move to the farm, I tried to save it but time wasn't on my side.

Thats a shame, it did look quite nice! I have raced a fair few cars myself so I can't really complain- I hope it gives a Granada a good roof bender!

BTW.. £225 for a banger? £30 used to my limit!

I got the car for £150, but I had various offers from racers for £200-£225, long gone are cheap cars even for small stuff? Big cars are hard to find.

You'd be in shock if we discussed the price of granada's/A60's but this is the wrong place for that!

I already know... £500 plus i'm told. Paying that much for a car simply isn't real banger racing, its meant to be about smashing up a load of MOT failed scrap cars!

Before I packed in racing a few years ago I paid £75 for 3 granadas, one was a 2.3 4 speed manual too, wish I had them now.
