Rolling door locks for S60?

When I got my 2002 S60 AWD about a year ago, I read that Volvo was coming out with a Firmware update to where you could have the dealership program your door locks to automatically lock once you got over 5-10mph.

Did this software update ever come out?

Does anyone have this set and in use on their S60?

I was a bit frustrated back then since freakin' "Chrysler Coroporation" has had that program feature available for years! I know because I also own a 98 Dodge Durango 4x4 and I had that programmed in at my first oil change!

Hello

Yes, there is software available that will lock the doors when the vehicle speed goes above 5mph. Take you car to a Volvo dealer and ask them to add the "Automatic Door Locking Application Software" to your vehicle.

Software part number - 8637412 - Function ID - 522

Make sure the dealer check's the software is applicable to your vehicle/country by looking the part number up first.
