Default Google Maps navigation in XC60 MY19?

What do we need to do in order to navigate using Google Maps from a phone displayed on the in-dash screen please?

As long as its a recent iPhone or an Android and you have the smartphone pack, just a cable into the socket in the centre console!

I think you also need to have the Android Auto or Apple Car Play option in the SPA cars.

The only maps displayed on the "Drivers" dashboard is the inbuilt Volvo Sat Nav system..........
But if you have the CarPlay option then you can also display Google Maps, Waze, etc BUT only on the main SENSUS display NOT the drivers dashboard display.

It was a £300 extra, and it's useless to be honest, as you only get half a screen displayed with minimal information. If you have used Google maps in the past, don't expect the same information to be displayed on the sensus screen. You are much better off mounting you phone on a universal phone mount on the vent and use the Google maps on phone instead.

You're welcome. I forgot to mention this was Google maps via android auto. I haven't tried apple car play to see if its any different. Maybe someone on here can concur?

Also, you can stream music via Bluetooth anyway, and make calls via bt too, so I personally wouldnt pay extra for it.
