my car I have been told is running to lean on lpg. would that be the reason that when pulling my caravan on lpg that the temp. gauge is running hot when going up hills. it has only started doing this over the last few months.

Who has told you it is lean? Lean burning could cause the coolant temp to rise but could be just down to coolant or air flow issues. Does the engine feel to have normal power? If you switch back to petrol does it suddenly start going better

everything is normal but there is an increase of power when switching to petrol going uphill. I don't seem to get the overheating when running on petrol uphill. go gas in Exeter told me it was running slightly lean when I went for my 10,000 mile service. unfortunately his cable wouldn't allow him to change the setting,

BRC is a right pain with 5000 different versions of software that are unique to each system variation.

I would suggest you get it looked at before you damage any valves!

I did here that Ben has left gaspoweruk and only Steve is left.
