Petrol smell inside car
Hi everybody.
I had my tank replaced for new a few weeks ago and now there is a petrol small inside the car when I first go in in the morning and while driving (also with window open). I don’t think it can be the joint between filler pipe and tank since it’s new. However I’ve noticed two things: The rubber fill cap thingamabob is old and cracked The petrol cap is more wobbly than it was on the original tank Can someone link the Brookhouse item that I need to replace the rubber? And is the cap likely to be part of the problem? I notice Brookhouse sells new lockable caps. I can’t see any drips when the car is standing. Thanks guys. Tom |
