I know its a daft idea but why not just ring a Volvo dealer??

Ask for a Service technician... not the receptionist (service manager he's called at my local !) and the guys who work the spanners are usually more than helpful.

I usually go there in the car coz they like to have a prod at it (as they only ever see one 'R' in that workshop (mine) and then I can ask all manner of cheeky questions - and get a bit of freebie advice too !

I beleive that the handbook has some details on the subject too.
