Default Free - 16" wheels

I replaced the wheels on my S40 which I subsequently sold last September. I still have the original wheels that came on her - no tyres and not in the greatest of condition, although I am told by the guy who removed the tyres for me that none are buckled.

They are the 16" Caligo, as fitted to the 2006 S model as standard.

I kept them thinking they'd make good wheels for winter tyres, but never did anything about that. They really need a refurb if you want them to look smart but although the insides are in poor shape, the outer faces actually don't look too bad.

I'll take some photos to add to this post asap, but in the meantime you can see the actual wheels in this old showroom thread https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=262624

I really now just want these out of the way. So, if they might be of use to you and you either collect them or pay for a courier, they are yours for nothing.

David

Hi, do you know if these would be suitable for a 04 (p2) V70? A spare set may be very useful!
Thanks

Hi Andy

I have no idea I'm afraid!

All I can tell you is they are 5 stud, 6.5J x 16 x 52.5. Hopefully though, if you run that past some Ph 2 V70 people they can help you?

Hi David,

I'm quite interested in these, I'm located on the coast about one hour from York so could quite easily pick up.

Sorry Pete!

After last winter I decided I needed a dedicated set of winter wheels instead of the two I put on the fronts which just about got me to work and back!

Ha ha! I didn't expect to see people scrabbling over each other to get to these! Sorry Pete - and you can't say I didn't drop you a great big hint in your V50 showroom thread earlier in the week, too!

Pleasure to meet you Dave - hope you can make good use of the wheels...

All the best

David

I know and I only asked what type they were. Should have been more like "I'll still take them David, thank you please".
