Has it still got an aerial ? my V40 seems to have lost 6 inches from the top

Yes but I need to find it and check its condition. I remember for sure that the rubber base was very worn.

Thanks, don't worry about tha base it's just the section that screws in ... Assuming they screw in on the v40

Cheeky one, but did the car have cruise ?
not just the ecu/relay thingy doohicky, but the switches/brackets etc that you (me) would need to retro fit/add to a non cruise car,, inc the stalk (left one is it?),,,,

and a Really dumb Q ,,but where does the "display" to say its on pop up ? ,,would i neednew clocks with the info center dooberys? or is it on my my2002 dash,,and ive not noticed the blank

Hi andy_d the display for cruise comes up in left window in speedo at the bottom hope that helps you.Volpete.

Yes. I am going to remove the entire Cruise system with Simablue on Tuesday. Will try to take some photos too of where everything is.

I was thinking of installing it on my car, but apparently you need to program it at Volvo if you have the Diesel. No programming is required if you have the normal petrol version, but not sure about the GDI.
