That spectrum of light is proven to disrupt your sleep and tells your body to release a chemical to put you in 'daytime mode'... it's also hard for the human eye to adjust to that colour... so when your driving at night with one set of yellow headlights coming towards you, followed by blue lights, then yellow again, its VERY hard (at least for me) to adjust to. Anyone else noticed this?
Would not want to disrupt your sleep behind the wheel, better get rid of my LEDs.

Thor's are brilliant lights. Perhaps not the best and as some said, Xenons might reach further away but LEDs emit very even light in whole area of output. Personally, I wouldn't trade mine for xenons but if facelift was out of question then there is no choice between halogen or xenons.

I'm saying that it disrupts the OWNERS sleep, because it is the OWNER who spends their driving time staring at the bright blue pool of light through their windscreen.

Blue light keeps the brain awake. So if you drive for hours late at night, with blue LEDs, you will get home and have bad nights sleep.

Mate, this is ridiculous. People can have whatever lights they have - smartphones, TVs, computer screens etc affect sleep much more than your car lights.

Xenons emit more blue light than LEDs, anyway.

Not sure why you think that is ridiculous tbh.

My house is currently kitted out with warm white LED bulbs... I had to wait many years before they were available on the shelves of tesco, however blue LED have been available for years and years, because they are cheaper to make.

Re Xenon, here is a colour temp comparison chart.

Most OEM xenons are 4300k in colour, a slightly yellow hue. Whereas OEM LED systems are generally 6000k, which imho is far too blue.

The second 4300k LED bulbs are on the shelves, with a cheap enough price, I will be all over them.

Ridiculous is the argument about negative effects on ones sleep because of LED headlights. I mean, sure - perhaps there are like two or three people besides you in the world switching their in-house lighting to remove blue light but for the rest of the world, car headlights have close to zero impact on sleep quality since people sit in front of screens all day, even before going to sleep. I'd say, driving at night, it is only positive that your brain is in day-mode, not setting off to sleep while you are driving. How often do you get home from driving and go to sleep straight away anyway? Take hour or two before going to sleep and you'll be fine. It is not like you can block out all blue light from your surroundings.

In terms of blinding, in Estonia and on our roads, xenons are definitely the worst kind. Must have crap blubs installed but man are these awful.
