Default D5 Issues

Hi,

wondered if anyone else has come across these issues.

Have 2009 Volvo C30 D5 with 27,000 on the clock. The car has developed a "squeak" noise coming from what sound like the engine (fan belt) but it is intermittent and dependent on road surface (sounds daft but is true!)

Also, my car is a geartronic, on coming to a stop, a new vibration now occurs just before the car comes to a complete stop.

Has anyone else come across these issues????

Due service in August but just wondered if I should be worried or not.

Many Thanks,
Daniel

Possibly a damaged engine mounting bush? I think it may well cause both issues.

Could well be the one way clutch on the alternator, your description describes the issue well.
