Kieran, old chap, there are other foodstuffs, you know! I mean, look at it this way: bacon is wonderful, we all agree on that - but if you have bacon, bacon and nothing but bacon, you might - through over-familiarity - start to forget just how wonderful it is, right? So, if sometimes you eat things that, well, aren't bacon, and then you come back to bacon, you are reminded all over again of its baconly wonderfulness!

Haggis is a wonderful thing ,dont get me wrong, but nothing can compare to a glistening freshly cooked hairy rasher, if it came down to haggis or bacon I would have to stick with my faith.

I am unable to attend pats parish tonight brother rasher, I have to see a young female parishioner over a plumbing issue. But I will send my deacon down and matt the lards bounty consists of many a greasy treat.
