  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

TJ is Technical Journal - a bulletin issued by Volvo to their dealers usually detailing a problem and a fix for it.

TI - not sure myself and what difference to above....

You can warp rotors by hard braking (driving down a mountain side) and then sitting on the brake pedal. This forms a hotspot on the rotor as the pads touching the rotor form an area where the rotor cannot cool down as much. The assymetric heat distribution can cause warping.

I've had the DIM message of "brakes too hot" appear, which is supposed to alert you to this. Except that my brakes weren't hot, I just fooled the car into thinking so... as my XC90 calculates the conditions required for hot brakes, without actually measuring the brake temperature.
