Default Flex' front brake pipe?

How long would you expect them to last before changing?

Years......
If the line becomes cracked or brittle, then it's too old.

Hi George, the manufacturer in Germany say : Maximum 12 years! no joke.
I wouldn't drive with the first one, especially with a 1-ciruit equipped car like yours.
I know in Portugal they are cheaper than here. Buy a good quality, no chinese scrap.
In Lisbon is even a company they will press them in front of you, best quality.

Have closer look at the end of the rubber, where it meets the metal. If you bent the pipe and it is stiff, you see litlle cracks or even the pipe is soft as chewing gum, renew them.

Good luck, Kay

Use braided lines mate .. far better pedal feel, and last better. Used them when I rallied and still use them now
Black Diamond do a fair set, Goodrich and others are all good IMHO
