Default Amazon sold

This car just sold for best part of £6,000 , was on eBay for £2,900 about a month ago needing new sill extensions and a bit of tidying. Was on my way to buy it when the dealer beat me to it. Car was in York.

Default 133 amazon

Hi,
A 133 amazon is purely a badging exercise, there is also a 131. 131 is a B20 engined single carb 121. A 133 is a B20 engined twin carb 122S.
These later model cars never had overdrive as standard.
Chris.

Kind of.... The 130's refer to the two door cars. So a 131 is a 2 door single carb, but will be badged 121. I think a 133 is a 2 door dual carb but will be badged 122s. This also applies to the 2 door 123gt I think... open to correction on that. Its just a type designation.

Thanks for that
I always thought that the final digit of 121 meant a single carb and the final digit of 122 meant twin carb, similarly with the 131; I had not heard of a 133 and had not thought what the 3 of 123 could signify, apart from all the extras the GT came with, but it never had three carbs!!
Does a car manufactured as a 131 and upgraded to twin carbs become a 133 and be badged as a 122S? or is that wishful thinking?
