As a matter of interest, is it also down on power, rather like limp mode?

My '05 S80 2.4 non turbo comes up with this from time to time 😣
The handbook says that if it comes on only intermittently, don',t panic
If it comes on every time you turn it on,it needs looking at

Many possible causes, but favourites are loose front driveshaft bolts (check by popping off the front wheel centre caps) or cracked ABS ring on any of the 4 hubs. Get codes read with VIDA and it will narrow the problem down to the affected corner.

Mine does this occasionally but I've had it on VIDA and it's not throwing up any codes.

I had this on my 2007 S60, but it only happened when turning full lock left.

Mine turned out to be the clockspring behind the steering wheel was defective due to mileage wear and tear.

Agree with Simon Jones on likely culprits and use of scanner to identify which corner(s) are at fault.

Mine also had a secondary 'Anti-skid temporarily off' warning and was pulsing through the brake pedal (as though the ABS was kicking in) but at no point did it loose power. Mine turned out to need both front ABS reluctor rings changing - about £20 in parts including new hub bolts and a couple of hours to fit.

Let us know how you get on.
