B20 cylinder head wanted please
Hi all,
Just got my Amazon back on the road after a five year lay-up. Went straight through the MOT test so very happy. However short lived as the engine (B20 from a '74 145 with the 44mm inlet valves) has dropped compression on no. 3 cylinder. I'm pretty sure it has burned an exhaust valve seat out so won't seal properly. Does anyone have a spare complete B20 head so I can get the Amazon back on the road while I save up to get a proper rebuild done on my current head? Cheers, Iain |

Hi Iain
I'm sure I have a B18 cylinder head somewhere, would that be any use?? If only to rebuild. You can have it if it's any good. Regards John |

Thanks very much for the offer of the B18 head. If I have no luck searching for a B20 head I'll get in touch. Out of interest do you know if the B18 and B20 heads are interchangeable without mods? Cheers, Iain |
