Good luck as i can see it not been the easist transplant in the world as you are going to have to fabricate all the engine mounts to start with and i carn't see the wiring been to easy either once you do get it in.

Salvo in Ilkeston have a ready supply of both, but they're not cheap.
You might want to try Simpson salvage near York.

cheers

we have a T5 engine for sale , but it wont fit , and i hate to say it , that T4 is gonna struggle without some surgery .

its been done before , but they couldnt get it working right over in germany apparently .

1721cc turbo 8v engine can produce some good power , whats your thinking ?

I was thinking the same why not tune the a** off a 440 turbo lump instead as there only reno engines at end of day so i would imagine you can get plenty of bits for them and they use garratt turbos aswell

What engine's do reno 21 turbos have in them, might be worth a thought as you have a problem of sourcing a fwd gearbox for a YB lump cossy engine witch could be difficult as they only did RWD and 4WD sierras and 4WD escorts,

unless of course you fancy a 400bhp 4wd cossy powered 440 that could be an intresting project and as far as i know its not been done before
