Try another card if you have one.

Sometimes the cards can develop a fault, this is usually fairly rare though.

My dash cam had a recurring fault with inability to delete old files. I replaced the card with one specifically rated as suitable for dashcams and the problem has not returned since. It is something to do with the robustness of the card and its ability to perform in an intensive re-write and hot environment. The cards are more expensive but seem to be worth the extra cost.

It's the memory card being full. We get the same. The cure is to delete all recordings. If you google various fora you will see it is a know fault. Mainly with SanDisk cards. Annoying or what.

Is the unit failing to record the end of clips? I had a NextBase and found their weakness is the rechargeable battery, it fails after a relatively short time and when that happens it won't record the start and end of clips. I seem to recall it came up as an error. They replaced the battery under warranty the first time, but then stated they wouldn't replace the second (new) battery. Sorry, but IMO they are junk. I choose not to use a camera now.

It is a Sandisk micro SDXC 64Gb. I seem to recall that it is the Extreme Pro variety but it does not say so on the case. In the various descriptions I originally found , it specifically said something like 'suitable for extreme environments such as car dashcams'. My dashcam is the Roadhawk Volvo accessory. Time has proven that the card works, but I don't know if the high quality is a case of overkill.
