  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

If it emits any smoke it will fail.

No idea if they rev them to death or if it is at idle though.

I have run it at 3000 revs and there is still no smoke from the exhaust at all, so this should not be a problem. I wish I could have said this with a DPF fitted.

The conclusion I have come to is its a badly designed interference with the exhaust system that is not fit for purpose. It does however create employment, for the people making them and fixing them, and certainly makes some people rich, just not the end user who it give headaches to.

But if your DPF is missing is that not an automatic MOT fail?

It certainly will be under the new rules.

There are plenty of people who are always trying to justify removing the dpf.
It's against the law for a good reason.
If you have a problem with that buy a petrol car
