Save your cash and buy mannol jws3309 oil off German eBay, I use it as do many others on here without problem.
I feel like I need to do more than a simple flush, maybe I'm wrong but I've reached 100.000 miles and the transmission has never been flushed. So I'm afraid of being late and I want to make the transmission kind of brand new... It's could be in my mind but I thought adding this cleaner would help me do a better job...?

Mine was oil changed at 220k just use clean oil and the gibbons method, it took 17 litres from memory and my gearbox pumped out clean oil. Mannol isn't red but it's obvious when it's clean, mine went from black to clean.
I didn't have vida then so I just put up with flares and clunky changes for a week or so and the box adapted OK on its own.
I suggest you don't use any additive unless you have to.

220.000 Km! So I'm guess I'm not that much in a rush to flush my transmission...
Do you have a Vida now? If yes how useful is it to you? (no segway what weather do you have you guys up there? here bright sunny day... before the rain...)

No, 220k Miles not km!
I have Vida and it paid for itself this year when my intercooler blew off and the engine management would not reset with a standard code unit.

Ok. Did you change the intercooler of your dog as well? Because on the picture he clearly looks like he is in pain! lol

Back to servicing the car... so Vida is usefull to change parts in the engine compartment but to change your oil and this kind ok regular maintenance... not really as I understand it right?

It's better to have vida but not essential...
My dog always sleeps like that, she's nuts.
In fact in answer to a previous question it's raining cats and dogs here.

We took the sun for us...

Yes Vida or no Vida... I'm not really sure I'll be going for one... My skills in mechanic don't let me do much more than changing the oil, the filters and so on... I thought it was mandatory to have a Vida for that but... and the software update, the biggest and more important ones are too expensive to be done at home with the Vida... I'll let the dealer do it... 130 euros but at the end of the day, it's not that expensive I guess...
How long does it take you to flush your transmission... have you done it several times? And the engine's oil?

I did not reset adaptations, it took about 2 weeks for the gearbox to learn my driving style and now changes smoothly.
So you will need Vida regardless to do a DIY fluid change and to set fluid level and fluid count.
I’m looking for exploded views or step by step diagrams for the transmission oil change.
Rain/fill and Gibbons method.
Opening the hood I can’t see the plugs to the radiator (Gibbons method). And some people talk about plugging not to the radiator but to the pump which I don’t see either...
Would you have that?
And by the way does the Vida give you this kind of information or is it just written stuff?

Thanks.

It's easier to do this and doesn't mix dirty oil with clean as much.
Look up the gibbons method for a description, and much easier!
Some people say the official method is to connect directly to the pump, not to the radiator... I’m a bit confused...is it B.S.?
And I’ve been looking for pictures or diagrams about this connection but it didn’t help when the hood was open. any advice?
Thank you.

Thank you.
You locate the gearbox cooler return pipe at the top of the radiator, pull the green clip out and pull the pipe out of the way.
Attach a 25mm hose pipe to the outlet on the radiator and run this to your oil catch container.
Run the car until about 2l of oil pumps out, measure the pumped out oil, replace with clean oil and repeat. Run the car through all gears while doing this to get out as much oil as possible. When the oil runs clean you are done.
Check oil level with car running and gearbox warm.
Reset oil temperature memory with Vida and delete the adaption memory.
If you don't have Vida you don't have to do this as already explained.
Please just change your oil!
