Default 960 Radiator Help!

5 days before I head on a 1000 mile round trip to France for a holiday, I hit an exhaust heat shield on the motorway and crack the bottom of the radiator!
Low coolant light on from max level after 40 miles driving, and again after 90.
At home now and there’s a noticable puddle under the car. Not gushing out thankfully.

If I get a replacement, are the ones from auto cars able to fit my manual? I know the ATF runs through the rad on autos so will there be ports to blank?

If anyone has one they can get to me by Thursday (or I can collect) I’ll be forever grateful!

Cheers
Jonny

Looks like you're in luck Jonny!

A smidge under £126 delivered or you can fight your way through the traffic of Sahf Lahndahn to 54 Whitehorse Lane,London. SE25 6RQ

For the delivery cost (£8.33 + VAT = £10) i'd get it delivered, you could burn that much petrol just getting on the South Circ!

An Auto one WILL fit. Nothing to blank off as you are not plumbing the auto box fluid into it. Just leave the plastic bungs in.

I'd always recommend when buying an older car, unless you know the history (a replacement is evident), is replace the radiator, along with giving the car a thorough service with quality consumables.

Cheers guys

Luckily, I managed to get one from the bay of E for £35 delivered from a 960, so direct swap - just hoping it will get here before Friday!

Cheers

When fitting to a manual car, the normal recommendation is to remove the auto cooler bungs.

Jon.
It might be - but I've been assured this one is leak free and from a car with only 78k miles - and only needs to last a smidgen over 1000 miles
Will be looking to upgrade when I get back anyway - apparently Nissen make all-metal replacements?

Cheers
