Grille looks good! Would it not have been easier (quicker?) to remove it from the car and do it on a bench though?

I'm not 100% sure how the grilles attach on the S/V40 but if its anything like the V70's its only a few small plastic clips?

Agreed, would have been easier but all the captive bolts that hold the grille in started to spin and break so I decided to leave it alone. The grille is secure so I just found a roll of masking tape and a news paper and decided to go that way around it!!

Wanted to try to revive this thread as I encountered some of the same problems that were listed here.

In doing the P1 to P2 front brakes conversion do you have to change the front calipers or can you use the P1 ones on the P2 bracket?

then the second question:

Was the misfire under 2000 rpm investigated anymore? I have the same problem on mine (1.8 '97), and I read somewhere else (i think it was a problem recurring also on other volvos of that era) it could be the throttle positioning sensor not working properly.
Regarding this I tried to change coils but it didn't help at all . Also the problem with the misfire is slightly accentuated as I have an LPG conversion on.
