Suspension: 70: - Suspension creaking

I get a creaking noise from front suspension area when I turn the steering at low speed (reversing out of parking space).

I thought that I’d ask on here if anyone had any ideas what’s causing it and is it an easy fix before I take it in to the garage.

2005 Mk1 C70 2.0 GT.

Check and grease the steering stops on the wish bones - on full lock the grinding noise is horrendous if they are even remotely dry!

Bad drop links can make a creaky noise when turning between locks at low speeds. Limiters make a horrible groaning sort of noise.

Cv joints also clonk on full lock when they are failing. You might need a lever under your wheel when the car is jacked up slightly to see if there is any movement in any suspension joints.
