Default Occasional Judder

Hi

My wife has recently become the new owner of a 2008 D5 V50; it’s an automatic and has done around 110k. We are both really enjoying the car but a couple of times recently I have noticed a possible problem. Occasionally when driving it develops a judder, almost like you are travelling over rumble strips. This judder only seems to happen in top gear at low rmp (1200 -1250) and whilst coasting the throttle (around 45 – 50 MPH); as soon as you accelerate or decelerate it disappears.

The car has recently had a full service and, apart from the above, drives very smoothly and doesn’t make any strange noises. My mechanic is taking a look next week but, any thoughts prior too this would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance
