Hi,

Is there anyone in or around Birmingham that would be able to scan and clear any errors that I have on my s40?

Thank you for taking the time to respond. Do you have any recommendations for where to buy from. We may be moving to an xc90 at some point so I'm sure it'll continue to come in handy.

I bought a chineese klone, but did not go for the cheapest one. there was a test / buying advice at some forum, but can't find it right now. search the internet for a bit and for sure you'll find the topic

Thanks for the tip. I did read somewhere about how the box should have different colour leds...

Plus 1 recommendation for buying from cheshired5, I bought the complete setup from him, laptop, software and DICE unit. I've had no issues and he was excellent to deal with and very helpful with details to get up and running.

I can't remember what operating system I have on the old laptop... I remember it prompting me to upgrade to a newer OS for free but can't remember now as it was over a year ago I used it.

Is it OS specific?
