Question Is it possible to change the V50's radio from FM to DAB?

I want to upgrade my FM radio to a DAB radio but don't want to buy an after market radio. I've had a 12v plug in radio (pure highway) before but too much messing around.
Is it possible to change the current FM module for a DAB module. Is it just a case of swapping the modules?? What else do I have to consider if this is possible.
Many thanks.

Not really possible using factory only parts I'm afraid. It's an aftermarket job covered in a number of threads on here. Options are FM transmitting dab, Pure, Alpine EZI-DAB, Parrot, Bluepower to name a few.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I was hoping to go for the factory fitted option as I've had the aftermarket option before. Anyway, thanks for putting this option to bed for me. Will search for the thread for my remaining options.

There's also the Dension option. From the research I've done, it's the closest aftermarket option that "fully" integrates with the existing sound system.

Upsides - works from the existing head unit.

Downsides - lose the USB in facility (if you have it) and the cost.

I keep mulling it over. DAB is the only thing I really want in my V50.
