Ball size confusion?? Control arm. Pls help:)

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm confused.

I need to order a left control arm wishbone but balljoint comes in 2 different sizes. 18mm or 22mm. Everyone I've asked is unsure of what i need.

My car is the V50 2006 duratec 5 door B4184511
Chassis no 209740

Apparently the chassis number is how you confirm what size is needed but I'm unsure

you need 18mm

VIN To 214682 is 18mm
VIN From 214683 is 21mm
