Great pictures.
I see a late 61/62 B18, and early vehicles in attendance? |

Great day out. Thanks for putting in the work to organise things. It was great to pick up tips and advice from a range of people with real experience of the car. Thanks to Chris and Ash for making the journey down the M1 a bit more interesting and for letting us back into busy traffic after we got lost on the way home! The only downside of the day was at the end of the journey home finding that the engine had dumped a pint of oil through the carb (and a liberal coating around parts of the engine bay). Still, it looks like at least I have a winter project to look forward to now! Looking forward to next year after I've sorted the crankcase pressure out!

Great day
Well done! Thoroughly enjoyable and worth the effort and swearing required to get the scruffy 122S estate operational. It's a surprisingly good motorway car with big diameter tyres and overdrive, very happy at 70mph according to the satnav.
Thanks for the handy spares, everyone. Peter, I hope your carbs are doing the job now and I look forward to the results of the distributor change.

I flew into Sywell Sunday and really enjoyed looking at the collection of vehicles on display. What was really good was the amount of diversity on display and detail in restoration. Thanks for organising.

Looks like a good do, sorry to have missed it. We would have come but we had a family gathering we were already committed to. Hopefully we'll come next year if you do it again!

Had a great day on Sunday, thank you to Peter and Jaki for organising it.
Really great to meet everyone, I think I got round to see most people during the day. Particular mentions-congratulations to Chris and your son all the way from Sheffield on winning a prize for your car..thoroughly deserved that was. Also, excellent to see my friend and fellow Northamptonian, Ted Wills get another prize for his awesome black P1800, well done Ted. Good to meet you at last Derek, you are a huge source of knowledge on here and I know people appreciate it. Anyone not mentioned its only because Im pretty rubbish at remembering names. great to meet everyone all the best Stuart |

Thanks for all the info and pictures, I see a few of you guys went along who I have already made contact with through this forum. It would have been good to see everyone for a catch up, it's encouraging to see so much appreciation for enthusiasts who give time and effort organising events for these great cars.
My Amazon is still awaiting my attention and is a must for the road next year........keep up the good work all and thankyou for some interesting reading. Andy |
