S80: Electrical - s80 drivers door lock removal

hi
I am trying to remove my drivers door lock .
have removed door card and rivet from the door holding window runner on ,three tork screws, it is loose but it seems to get jammed on something.
any advice would be apreciated

to continue from on the question.there seems to be a white plastic cover covering the linkage with one screw in it .I have taken that out and the white plastic cover will still not come out .I cants see anymore screws,but on the door above the lock by the outside handle are two rivets does any one know what they hold on or fixed to

Hi it's a couple of years since removing the drivers lock from a v70 which I think is basically the same. Have you removed the glass ? It needs to come out first to get the room to manoeuvre the lock .I think we did drillmout a couple of pop rivets to remove winder mechanism . No special tools needed other than pop rivet gun and appropriate rivets for reassembly.A Haynes manual will helpwith the order of removal . Take plenty of pics to help re assembly , especially if your stripping down the lock assembly as it's very fiddly .
