Which gearboxes can be fitted to this engine? Is it only the renault Box, or can others be fitted as well?

the 850 gearbox too . or the M90 from a 2500 6 cyl 960 if its going in a front engine rear wheel drive car .. It is a volvo flange, renault modified their gearbox to fit ...

So the M56H gearbox from the B4184S2 engine should fit?

yes it should , but clutch splines MAY be different
