Aluminium Tread Plates
My Xc60 is now 7 months old and with my two sons sliding out of the back on a regular basis the inner door seals are looking a bit worse for wear. I try to keep them free from git best I can.
I enquired at my local dealer about a set of the aluminium tread plates to protect the sills (or in my case hide the scuffs). They wanted £220 for a set before fitting! Has anyone had these fitted or just bought the parts? How much did you pay?

I started a thread a few weeks back headed "Cost of Volvo Accesories" after discovering the same thing in SA. I was horrified at the price. Don't bother searching the web for any special prices on the tread plates - they are all about the same. I am now looking at some universal tread plates. Amazon has a new car accessory section which sells some universal plates for about 22 gpb. Let us know if you find anything!
