Everything went fine thanks. I did it slightly different though by removing the trim around the barell behind the wheel so I could access the T30 screws that hold the airbag on without having to turn the wheel, couldn't be arsed faffing with the jack etc to take the load off the front wheels etc.

Wheel is in excellent condition. Wood is virtually unmarked and no signs of wear at all. I also have a spare airbag and a clockspring so bargain indeed.

Apologies to the OP, I bet she's fuming !!

For the record, I bought the wheel before I read this thread. Needless to say I was a bit confused when I clicked on the ad link in this thread, must of been 5 minutes before the penny dropped.

Hello. I would like to install the wooden steering wheel of the Volvo 850/960 1996-1997 complete with airbag on the 1998 Volvo C70.
It's possible? Does the 850's horn and airbag work on the S-V-C70?
