Default TerraClean, any experience?

Just as in the title really, does anyone have any experience with TerraClean? My swirl flaps are disconnected (see separate thread) and the garage suggested TerraClean, although he said he had no experience of it and didn’t know who did, but he had heard about it. There is a garage locally that does it but I wondered if anyone on here had a view?

He also advised against supermarket fuels, but I don’t want to start that discussion again.

Had mine terracleaned about month ago. Not 1bit of difference, mpg same. Bloke that did it said might kick some black smoke out after, but never did.
I put bg244 after every oil change so don't know if that cleaned engine or terraclean is ****

Did you get to see which parts of the engine were cleaned, and how ?

I gather there are different Terraclean options, and some can flush stuff through in different places.

All he did with mine was disconect fuel feed and return from engine and connected his machine up so it was providing fuel.
I would personally use bg244 in fuel tank every 6months and put redex diesel treatment in fuel filter every time its changed.
My D5 has 106k and gives no smoke out when starting and booting it

Liquimoly Diesel Purge is highly regarded in the P2 section of the forum.

Thanks for replies. Nothing definitive then so far, but there may be more views. I'm not in a hurry, so will wait and see.
