Ah man.

That's amazing.
If this had of come up 6 months down the line, it would have been mine, no questions.
****ty time conspires again and after moving house and buying a new roof the '240 Turbo' pot has been drained.

I love the pain of regret though... Is it really fast? I've seen the youtube video, but it's hard to get a great impression...

Really good luck with the sale, I'd pop a few bids in, but would have to sell my girlfriend. Actually... Would you do a straight swap? She's in good nick. 2yrs older than the car though....

Good to hear from you Kev. My 360 Turbo is still a work in progress...playing with the 343 with the B200 on carbs at the moment!

The car looks fantastic. I have no use for it, but I'm still sorely tempted.

For those of you thinking 190bhp doesn't sound like much...note the 280lbft part. That's more than a T5, etc. If you wanted, you could get that peak horsepower (at high RPM) up to 250+ quite easily with a larger turbo and a cam, with a slight (and I do mean slight) trade-off in low end. As it is, it'll still be extremely tractable on the road, as the torque is exactly where you want it. I bet it's a joy to drive. Good luck with the sale, and I'm extremely envious!

cheers

James

Cheers James and Ben,

Yeah yet again built a nice motor then sell it on, I'm putting all my efforts now into my p1800. And have my wife's remapped c70 d5 and 940 turbo to enjoy. The guy who bought it has a t5 and when he drove he couldn't believe the torque from 1500 rpm, he said was much quicker than he t5, he's bought it for track days so with its poly bushed suspension should be perfect, that was my plan origally but as age has gone on I've lost my bottle now. I think I used it all up in our mental 360 days with mark Higgins.

Glad I did it tho and turbos really suit 240's, this I would say is the best volvo I've ever had!!
