I followed this vehicle on eBay and if I recollect correctly it reached £10850 first time and £9200 the second; each time failing to meet the reserve. I would be interested to know what the OP thought it was worth at 4/5 years old with 134k on the clock. Personally I would have been delighted with the first auction, and ebay is not by any means known for top pricing.

Hi,

In the end I sold it outside eBay for as much as I got the first time at auction. I was hoping for a price in that region and thought it was fair.

The first person who came to view bought it and that pretty much summed up the car. Was very eye-catching, in excellent condition inside and out.

eBay attracts a lot of time-wasters where people bid to view rather than buy so I was glad to have sold it outside that.

Always nice to have a follow up, I think you did well with it and interesting to see the outcome. My personal preference would be for ebay and that was a nice result, a dealer would have caned you with those miles. Thanks for the feedback.
